The Game of Thrones Filming Locations

Visit the filming locations used in the production of Game of Thrones on this 9,5-hour guided day tour. Travel with the same company used by the cast & crew of the hit series.

Your first stop is Carrickfergus Castle, constructed by the Normans in 1177 AD. Although it is not related to Game of Thrones, it offers a fantastic photo stop. Next, you will drive along the renowned coast road to the picturesque fishing village Carnlough Harbour, known as Braavos in the series. You will also visit the famous Cushendun caves, where Melisandre gave birth to a shadow baby in Season 2 and where a famous battle between Jaime Lannister and Euron Greyjoy took place in Season 8. Next, you will visit a natural phenomenon of beech trees, known as The Kings Road. This iconic road was featured in Season 2 – The North Remembers. Then, you will stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Giant’s Causeway, where you will have about 2 hours to explore the area. Before heading back to Belfast, you'll make a stop at Dunluce Castle, also known as the Seat of House Greyjoy, the greatest castle of Pyke.
