The excursion commences with a picturesque journey to the bulb flower fields around Lisse, as well as the renowned Keukenhof Gardens featuring more than 400 acres of flowers, trees, and fountains. Throughout the spring season, visitors can see flower carpets extending as far as the eye can see.
After a 3,5-hour stay, you will travel to the windmill village of Zaanse Schans. See live demonstrations of artisans making the famous wooden shoes of the Netherlands. Enjoy some leisure time to independently explore the village before travelling though the unique polders of the Beemster area. Last stop of the day is Volendam, a traditional Dutch fishing village famous for its painted wooden houses nestled along the canals.
