At lunchtime, you will stop in Whitby, a traditional seaside town where you can have fish and chips – the local speciality. You will also have the opportunity then to explore this historic town. Visit the ruins of Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for the novel ‘Dracula’, and wander around the town and harbour. Before making your way back to York, you will explore furthermore the heart of the moors while learning about the natural history of these beautiful landscapes.
