Join a half-day guided tour to Monet's Gardens in Giverny from Paris. You will learn more about the father of Impressionism, explore his former residence and visit its unique gardens.
Meet your guide and the rest of the small group at a central location in Paris. After a 50-minute drive through the French countryside, you will arrive in Giverny, where Monet's former home is located. Your guide will begin by telling you about the two unique gardens that Monet created: the flower garden of Clos Normand and his water garden. Both gardens are the inspiration for many of Monet's famous paintings, with features such as the water lily pond and the Japanese-style green bridge.
Afterwards, you will visit Monet's former residence, where he lived and painted for 40 years of his life. Visit the interior, see the brightly coloured rooms and admire dozens of works that were given to him by his famous artist friends. Afterwards, you will be taken to the small cemetery that he chose as his final resting place. Here you can pay your respects to this great man and thank him for bringing so much beauty to this world.
