Enjoy a 2,5h guided hike through the Gap of Dunloe and return to Killarney by boat with gorgeous views of the lakes and Killarney National Park.
Meet your guide in Killarney town centre and board the coach to Kate Kearney’s Cottage. From here, 'Walk the Gap' to Lord Brandon’s Cottage for lunch (not included). The Gap is a narrow mountain pass between Macgillycuddy’s Reeks and Purple Mountain. This hike takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful scenery, pass a few lakes and 'The Wishing Bridge' where all wishes made on the bridge come true.
After lunch, embark on a boat waiting for you on the Gearhameen River. Enjoy breathtaking views of Killarney’s lakes and National Park. Once you’ve arrived at the historic Ross Castle, board the coach one last time to return to Killarney town centre.

If you don’t want to hike. It is possible to take a Pony and Carriage through the Gap. However, it will cost €35 per person and must be paid directly to the driver
