Cotswolds, Blenheim Palace & lunch in a country pub

After meeting your guide, you will travel to Oxford. Stroll along quaint narrow lanes leading to historic colleges and charming quadrangles. Visit Oxford University’s medieval Divinity School - its oldest classroom. Take advantage of the free time to explore the city independently before continuing the journey through breathtaking Cotswolds.

You will drive through the hilly landscapes characterised by Cotswold's rolling limestone. During the journey, your guide will tell you all about the landscape and its history, especially the rise and fall of the wool trade. Be enchanted by the honey-coloured stone villages and green valleys you pass along the way. You will visit Burfold located by the River Windrush, where you can see the Woolsack graves and historic cemetery. Lunch is served in a  traditional country pub where you can sit back and experience the centuries-old tavern life. After lunch, continue to the village of Bibury – make sure to take some photos of the famous Arlington Row. After that you will drive though stunning centuries old villages with photo stops along the magnificent Coln Valley. The next stop is at Stow on the Wold with its lively market square. Head back to London passing through Chipping Norton and Woodstock.
