The boats have been classified with 4 stars with a high level of comfort and quality. They are generally spacious and although all the boats are unique in design and facilities all of them have heating, hot water, TV/DVD players, hygienic flushing toilets and showers. All bedding, towels, a gas oven, fridge, all cooking utensils and crockery are onboard.
All the boats have fully equipped kitchens (galleys), you can shop at village stores, farm shops and supermarkets along the way or we can help you to arrange a supermarket delivery direct to the boat at the beginning of the holiday. There are also plenty of waterside pubs and places to eat in the local towns and villages en route.
Before making your booking consider whether to choose a 'cruiser stern' or a 'semi traditional' stern (back end). The cruiser stern gives you an open back deck with room for a number of people to stand. The semi traditional have a smaller rear deck with a seating area which can be closed off with doors.
The tank will be full of fuel when you pick up the boat. On a short break or week's holiday you are unlikely to need to re-fuel, for longer trips there are re-fuelling points along the canal network. Some of the owners include the cost of the fuel, others add a charge at the end of the holiday, typically 10-15 GPB per day.
